Hi STAGE 10 , 11, AND 12 sees us start the chassis all screwed together really well.and fix the cylinder plates to the front.this completes pack 2. All looking very nice. I must admit i like the pre-painted finish on this one. My D-51 is still some way from completion with the last set of parts being the tender wheels. Over the time of the build some of the brass has tarnished so i will have to paint but its a daunting looking task. Glad you are enjoying your new build. Happy Modelling

Stage 15, the cylinder side plates.glue the bits to the side plates and attach with screws. Hi stage 16 The piston rods and cross heads. This just involves gluing the piston rods in, and fixing bolt to crossheads. These are not used till pack 4.so store away safely. Hi finally for this pack stage 20. The equalising bars. Again all easily screwed together, and fitted well.I polished my bars up a bit as one pic shows 2 polished.the 3rd one on the right not polished yet.and the final pic of what I have so far. The chasis looks quite long so far, I will hopefully get mine done this week time permitting as things are a bit hectic with work getting ready for an ORR visit.
