Painted Cylinders. Installed the Motion Frame and Suspension Front and Back. It was quite a struggle, working with the tiny bushings, screws and nuts. I had quite a few two steps forward and one step back because I wasn’t paying enough attention to the detail on the springs.Had a couple backwards so had to disassemble and do it over again. And then to top it off, when I got it all installed, I found a bushing on the bench so a search to find out where it was missing and then take apart a few more things to find where It was supposed to go and then put it together again. Ready to paint now.

Thanks Andy. I got impatient and gave up waiting for the paint from the UK. In fact it just came today. I ended up buying some paint from off the shelf, it's a little darker than I would like but I thing it will look ok. The Color is Canyon Black Primer and Paint. The small parts and running gear tho is ALC Stainless Steel that I got from Horizon Hobby.

Installed the Valve Gear and did some touch up paint here and there. Adjusted Eccentric Arms and checked out the running gear to see if everything ran smooth.

Been a while since I posted on here, so to show I am still working on here goes. I have come to the conclusion that I am a lousy painter, but maybe when I am done it will look ok. Firebox and boiler added to the smokebox. Six bands installed with tiny bolts and nuts. (Amazing, didn’t lose any)

Hi Sid Looking good and by the way did you remember to offset the bolt on the boiler ring next to the firebox by about half an inch otherwise it will destroy the silicon tube motor joint the first time you start her up.
