stevie_o wrote:Really looking good, I think the worst kit manf for over engineering is Hasegawa - who seen to use 25 parts when 5 will do, nice for a challenge but if there is no extra detail at the end then really its just to boost the parts count.
Steve
I think they also use such a high parts count as an excuse to boost their prices Steve. Hasegawa kits are very good but the price of some of their kits is bordering on ridiculous, especially their latest 1:72 aircraft kits!!

A bit more progress on the Triumph. The wheels have had a splash of paint and rear sprocket fitted and tyres fitted. Chainguards, oil tank, engine casing, battery and mounting plate all primed and painted The front fork assembly almost complete, there are 20 parts in what you see here and still many more to add to it. That's it for now as i'm about to hopefully fit the rear wheel assembly to the frame. Thanks for looking Al Spal attached the following image(s):

This is coming on well I like the simplicity of these older bikes as compared with modern ones, (maybe not so simple to construct though). Keep up the good work. Regards delboy271155 ( Derek ) COME BACK GUY FAWKES "YOUR COUNTRY NEEDS YOU"
