I think they also use such a high parts count as an excuse to boost their prices Steve. Hasegawa kits are very good but the price of some of their kits is bordering on ridiculous, especially their latest 1:72 aircraft kits!!

A bit more progress on the Triumph.

The wheels have had a splash of paint and rear sprocket fitted and tyres fitted.

Chainguards, oil tank,engine casing, battery and mounting plate all primed and painted

The front fork assembly almost complete, there are 20 parts in what you see here and still many more to add to it.

That's it for now as i'm about to hopefully fit the rear wheel assembly to the frame.
