That is coming together very nicely.

Tamiya really think these kits out so well with each sub-assemble going into the build to leave you wondering just how did it all go together.

Happy Modelling

Hi Tony
You're so right. An incredible amount of
thought gone into it.
I suppose motorbikes are not only for
performance but looks as well!

An excellent kit all round.

Hi Al

Thank you. I may just make another one but
I might, for the first time, weather it. I ve
never done any real amount of weathering
But s'pose you have to start somewhere!!

Before that and once this bike is done
I've got to get stuck into HMS Hood by
trumpeter. Looking forward to that.

Regards, Alan

Thanks Shaun, thanks Nemesis

Your words are very encouraging, in fact it is this forum that has
helped greatly to improve my modelling skills.
I used to just get the glue out, make a mess and hope for the best but after seeing some of the kits on here I felt compelled to complyBigGrin

So I now take my time, thanks to all for the comments that have helped me along the way.

Regards.

Alan

Thanks for your comments.

I have a question about the decals. The decals are breaking each time I apply them to the model. I'm not doing anything I shouldn't, could this be that they are old?

The number plate decal has started to disintegrate after only a few days so will now need to replace it!

I'm not sure how long this kit has been on the shelf but it was just a thought.

Any suggestions welcome.

Thank you

Regards all

Alan

It probably is due to there age, these kits were originally around in the 80's i recall.

You could scan the decal sheet onto a pc and then print them onto decal paper that way you would have new decals. Can't say i have done this but i'm sure others on here will have made there own decals before.
