Ian and Karl113 thanks for the encouraging comments.

I have just finished the port side gun port lining, a time consuming job.

Happy Building

Hi Amipal

It did not look that good before the sanding. It just takes a lot of elbow grease and time.

Happy building and good luck with your build

Thanks, Arpurchase

I have not even thought of another build at this stage there is a long way to go on the Victory. At present I am finding the lining of the gun ports a slow and repetitive, uninteresting job but will have to press on.

Happy building

Here are some more photos of my progress. I keep on forgetting to update my build as I see some time has passed since my last update.

Progress has been steady but the rigging of the cannons made me take breaks to allow relax and start again. This has been the most frustrating part of the build so far.

The start of the cannon assembly line.

I did a small mod to the axial (I know that is not the correct term) by slipping a short length of insulation from a 3 wire flex over the brass wire and painted it black to made is more in scale. The saddle fitted by I had to deepen the slot in the frame with a 2mm deburing tool.

The completed cannon.

The arsenal is complete.

The grates to Darron's mods.
