Part 15:

Here we go with the next issue. Again, just a bit of scraping & glueing.
However, extra care needs to be taken where the side fins mount as there are no recessed lines to follow.
Scared
You just need to remove some paint between the 2 holes. I also shortened the pegs on the fins slightly, to prevent them pushing each other out.
ThumpUp
Finally, to save on masking tape, i hunted out a fuse of that was the same width as the fins, so i could use a small clamp to hold the fins in place instead.
Cool

BigGrin Thanks Mike, I'll start one for the DB5 soon as well when I have a few more parts. At the moment I am just trying to decide whether to leave the seat 'as-is' or get some leather & have a goConfused

Hi Jerry,

Certainly the leather was grey in the original car, I will wait untill I have all the seats and side panels before I make my decision wether to use a paint product or cover with leather, one thing is for sure I dont need to rush I have plenty of time, and as I am receiving parts its opening up more possibilitysDrool

Hi dvb247, they are spring clamps that I got as a cheap set from B&Q.

I think this link should work:

Enjoy.

Part 16:

OK, well all I can really say about part 16 is EASY - IF you are a very talented, ambidextrous Octopus. Unfortunately, I am not Scared

So, to say i quickly ran out of hands to do this is an understatement, especially when the upper wing came loose. So left that off & concentrated on the sides. Once that dried, i replaced the upper wing, so I got there in the end, & it is looking OK - at least no major disasters so farThumpUp

Hi Sean (I presume??),

Glad you like it so far. Those clamps certainly come in useful.

Unfortunately, I am far too impatient to collect a large number of issues before starting LOL

It is hard enough limiting myself to one issue a week, when four drop on the doormat in one parcelDrool

Part 17:

Not too taxing this week, as long as you remember to pre-lubricate the screws that hold the upright & half of the air duct together.
Time to break out those clamps againLOL
