Instead of trying to paint the speedometer and oil/fuel gauges I downloaded actual images of the two taken from a Bedford HA, cropped them in Paint and exported as a png file to Power Point, where I resized to the correct scale before printing off. Once I had scaled them down and printed them off, I carefully cut them out and fixed clear tape to their front faces and trimmed this too. The clear tape gives the impression of a glass face; a nice touch I think. The attached photo shows both dials fixed to the dashboard. Phil That is looking really good and that touch with the instrument faces is a great tip i will keep note of as it works really well. Hope it continues well. Happy Modelling

 Nice little kit and looking good. Glue-n-glaze works well for instrument panel glazing too  Current builds:-C57,Zero, Lamborghini Countach, Caldercraft HMS Agamemnon,Robi,R2-D2, MFH Cobra .

Nice work Phil. Doing a great job. I remember my dad having one of these. He used to hand paint it every 2 years to keep it looking new haha. If I remember right it was N reg. Chris On the bench 1/350 Revell Tirpitz Platinum Edition (Pontos PE and Wooden deck) plus extra Eduard PE set and extra MK1 door sets.

Hello Fellow Modellers, Another update on the 1/43 scale Bedford HA van. I've glued the internal body to the chassis and fitted the dashboard and steering wheel in place. See attached photo. To bring the driving area to life I thought it would be fun to have a newspaper placed on the passenger seat as if the driver has just read it. What newspaper? The Sun, as it's red branding would stand out well. I came across back issues of this newspaper and also gifts whereby you can personalise the headlines. I came across one such headline " FORENAME HEREIS LET LOOSE ON THE ROADS". Perfect! Brian is the name of the guy whom i'm making the model for and being as he owns and runs a garage the headline is spot on! So I 'saved image as', imported it into Paint, cropped it and added his name. The headline now reads "BRIAN IS LET LOOSE ON THE ROADS". I saved the image as a png file, imported image into Power Point to resize it to the correct scale and printed it off. I then glued a few folds of paper inbetween the folded front sheet to give the impression that is has many pages and hey presto. See attached photo. This should make you smile!
