I'm doing a lot of trial fitting here so as not to go too far and realise that I've missed some fettling or drilling process.
The body parts will have to get paint at an early stage. So some careful handling needed during later assembly.

Very nice work Malc, I am seriously impressed by how you are coping with what I believe you said was your first 'multimedia' kit - how are you finding it and are you enjoying it? Certainly looks like you are from your photos?! Cool ThumpUp

Those resin parts for the cockpit tub look beautifully moulded too! Drool Drool

Thanks for the kind comments Kev. It is my first multimedia build and was a bit of a shock at first. These kits are certainly not the " Glue part A to part B " kind of stuff. But having a bit of fun and pleased with the results to date.

The Resin parts are very good. They fit well and have minimal moulding flash to remove.

Cheers
Malc.

Interesting detail on the rear bulkhead. I've polished the center part and painted the bracing struts. The electric fuel pump fits on here. I'm going to add some wiring and hoses that are not part of the kit.

Looking very good Malc especially with some of that classic McLaren orange paint and I know I've already said this but those resin chassis parts look even more sublime in your latest photos. I do like your homemade brass trestles too, very good.

This is going to be a fabulous model when finished Malc, well done on your progress so far! Cool ThumpUp
