MWG I Think that it would be viable for the hood might just need a bit of upgrading round stern where rudder tubes go through hull and you would have to make some slightly larger rudders and probably working out some way of moddifying access trough upper decks by making them removable. don't forget if the superstructure is top heavy you will need hull area to add ballast What is the superstructure being made from wood with metal etching (as the Bismark) or solid metal?

if you look at the 350 scale rudder on the hood and the 200 scale follows the same diamentions i doht think you will need a bigger rudder she has only one, large one

Generally scale rudders on R/C models don't perform well, which is why with the Bismarck R/C version, a larger pair of rudders were supplied with the kit
Hi All I Have added some more photos of the construction of the super stuctor and some photos of the radio controll instalation. ian http://s1188.photobucket.../albums/z411/iansmith3/
Great pictures and lovely build. I am also starting to collect parts for the Hood, which will have the R/C option. Seeing your photo's I was wondering about ballast??? is the battery and motor heavy enough do you think to give addiquate buoyancy? TIS
