I'm back after some time off from buying a house. With the shut down, I've picked the ship up again! Got it all faired and laid down the first three rows of planks. A bit rough, but I expect I will improve. Thought I would post some photos for your perusal. If anything appears way out of shape, please let me know before I get too far into it. ~ Burt Brutis attached the following image(s): ~ Burt

Hi Burt, Welcome back to the forum. Like many others, there is time for us to spend modelling this wonderful ship. Everything looks fine at the moment but do make sure that you chamfer the edges of the planking and taper them, as per the instructions. It is too easy to end up with “clinkering” and large gaps appearing. Trial fitting is worth the effort. Good luck and enjoy. Take your time and I’m sure you’ll produce a great model. CHRIS

Small update. I've got the next three rows of planking installed and the gun ports cut on both side. As expected, the last 3 rows fit better than the first. ~ Burt Brutis attached the following image(s): ~ Burt
