doesn't the rain light come on when the engine is switched to wet "mode"? ive seen a few drivers with it on during practices when the engine has been in a different setting. im sure vettel had his flashing when he had his gearbox "problem" as he had the engines settings lowered?? i could be wrong though!! If at first you don't succeed........skydiving is not for you!

I think your right, Im sure I've heard someone tweet into one of the F1 Practice sessions asking Ant Davidson about it, I seem to remember him saying they have different setup presets and if they use on one of the presets will rain light on.. Hi all sorry for the large delay in replying to this but i have a broken pc and have only just got back up and running again. I believe the rear light is on in rain and flashes on and off when the pit lane speed limiter button is pressed. Hope this helps but i suppose you already have the answer now lol I have a busy year this year with all the club racing the F1, moto GP, world superbikes, touring cars and plenty more. Will i ever find time for these builds.... Paul

I have managed to place an led rain light :) it works a beaut. I have a pot to change the flash rate of the led, its powered with a 12v battery. I will be making a battery area inside of the cockpit and a switch around or within the steering wheel, depends how big the steering wheel is. so far this is how it looks video link : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GkdlNXPeTK4

I did use 3mm LED which I bladed the plastic ends flat to reduce spacing when joining the cluster of leds, i am thinking of placing the full 15 leds but currently have 12 leds in that video. The flashing rate is based on the module I have purchased. Whats currently stopping me from posting all of this is, I am trying to find a sensor switch or be able to remotely turn on/off switch, and I am unable to decide until the next parts come where I should build a battery compartment.
