Todays launch work ive given the hull several coates and attached the keel....

Got to the point where the launch had to be separated from the jig...











So once separated i rubbed the top of the ribs down and then primed the interior..

I changed the settings to 900 x 480...

I did a bit more yesterday like adding those small pieces for the corners etc and gave the launch interior another coat of paint....

I actually thought i took a few photos but i mustnt have...

I think the missus as accidently binned my paint Mellow

Have to buy some more paint today that i can use on all the launches over the year.

Getting quite into this ship modelling.....

Very theraputic and time consumming...

BigGrin BigGrin BigGrin .. Its like a bug, once you get into it the more the bug bites...BigGrin BigGrin .. Then you have the problem of where do you display all these great kits you end up building.... Happy to hear you're enjoying the journey....

Exactly Alan where do you display these big ships!
HMS Victory will be in the back bedroom on one wall...
The facing wall im comtemplating making into the building area.....
Work bench as there are 4 double plugs on that wall and it also gets the natural daylight aswell....


But one thing this hobby enables you to gain access to skills that you did not you even had or you learn them but its a big learning curve......

Got a be fiddly today with the windlass and the tiller but its done...

Even managed a coat of paint on the windlass and the tiller.....

Another 2hrs on the build and that is a grand total of 13hrs so far...
