You may have a duff head sensor order a replacement issue 83. Also can you double check all your connections.

Finally received the new head sensors and set aside a day to fit and fiddle but no luck, still got the head turning rapidly one way and red light, this is starting to get very annoying. Have checked all connections yet again and checked batteries again, all is good there just won't work properly Any idea's Arpurchase?Confused

Head turning rapidly may be the head motor (which has a speed controller built in) but I think this issue also causes a problem with the MCU - so might be best to replace both at the same time.

The issue could be that the head motor has affected the MCU - replacing one or the other won't help if they bring each down - you replace one component and the other one causes it to fail.

Request both & replace both at the same time is best

Also as a side note, do check that connections are the right way round on the motor & boards - some people found this also causes the same sort of issue.
