Hi All,
The following mods have returned to the fold; Gandale, Delboy, Darbyvet, and RoyMattBlack has been added. There will be a couple more familiar names hopefully added in the very near future.
As Roy has indicated, things are definitely looking up, and with the excellent team members returning, the forums will soon be returning to their former place of excellence. We will be adding a heading or two in the coming days, so keep your eyes peeled!

Thanks Admin. Glad they have return to the fold. Were they naughty boys?
Any sign when the new forum will be coming along? The problem with pictures has not got any better and someone mentioned it was due this summer.

Hi John, unfortunately nothing further at this stage on the new forum. As soon as we have anything new on this subject then an update will be posted... Its frustrating I know, but stick with us as a lot of work is going on behind the scenes.... Regards Alan

Don't worry, I am very confident we will hear all about the new forum once it is up and running. It appears to have been nearly 2 years since they started implementation. It must be an amazing piece of software to take this long.

Chris Chris i think that depends on my real wish that with all the registered members we could get some new contributors. I know you cannot force people to contribute but it would be nice if we could see a broadening in the number of guys/gals that have something to say or show. Tony Happy Modelling

I would be very happy to contribute to the forum and show process of my build as soon as the major back order issue is corrected and back orders filled so people can start their builds

I quite agree, I would contribute more to this forum in the way of a build diary for the Rossi Yamaha if I had the parts to do so and wasn't 3 months behind. The admins keep saying the future is bright, but I'm seeing nothing like it. In fact more and more subscribers seem to be falling behind with other builds.
We need some hard information on what's going on, not wait and see, things will get better. Too much BS!

We need some hard information on what's going on, not wait and see, things will get better. Too much BS! I really feel for your and other people`s situation when waiting for parts. The running of the forum is transforming on a daily basis at the moment and its only for the better, but parts deliveries are not so easily fixed when distribution is on a global scale, but it IS being dealt with. When "hard" information is available it will be posted and that`s got to be better than giving out guesswork. Maybe in the meantime you could post us a couple of pics of your progress so far, I for one would be interested and I`m sure there are many others that think the same. Hi Tony
True the forum has 8k plus members but about 80% of that membership has long since built their part-work and have departed the forum leaving there membership intact to keep there build diary's on the forum.
We also have a membership who will never post but will glean information from other peoples builds and then some but not all post it on there own blogs as there own ideas.
All forums have a hard core of contributors of up to between 200 to 500 members who continuously post and that just leaves the visitors who take but never add there own ideas/solutions.
The forums main aim is for more experienced modelers to help and to pass there knowledge on to the less experienced modeler to improve there skills and the enjoyment of the hobby.
One problem we have right now on the forum is a lack of response to posts, we are as modelers a breed that gets less and less every year and many youngsters who are more digital than hands on and have no interest in modeling but when I visited Telford last year I had the good fortune to meet several young modelers who were passionate about the hobby and one who had dragged his father who had never built a kit in his life down there and at the end of the day the dad could see the benefits and skills involved so there is hope for the hobby.
We are all here to pass on to others knowledge/ideas/solutions no matter how small or profound to help others to get the best experience they can on there journey to build maybe the ultimate model of there life.
Forum politics/views/influences from social media and life in general will always be there and all have a big way of pushing some negativity.
One way to bring the forum back to life is to simply appreciate the endeavors of each contributor and post, simples
Current builds:-C57,Zero, Lamborghini Countach, Caldercraft HMS Agamemnon,Robi,R2-D2, MFH Cobra .

Deric. I would start the Victory and post pictures but with only one pack that i could work and have to stop until the back order issue is fix would not show any progress. When and if i get pack two i will be starting a build log to show everyone my progress. I look forward to starting but am at a stand still right now. I called customer service today and got the same answer. I do not know when the pack will be in stock. I do wish they would tell you this when you order. That way you can decide if you want to order or not

Called customer service today asking status on pack two. First i got the standard answer of i do not know. When i told them i was seriously considering returning what they have sent me and get my money back , they changed their story that pack two has been coming in a couple at a time and they were filling orders Before mine. I totally understand that and previous orders are to be filled. When i asked where i stand on the list they went back to they have no idea. Makes me want to return the packs they sent me and get a refund
