Hi All,
A few more pictures on the Wardroom, you know that I have built a table, well now I have put food on it,what I have done is to hand model and hand paint bread, bananas, look for brown one,and tomato's from clay and bake in the oven with the sunday roast. The bowls were also made from clay
I rolled to a very small ball and pushed a small stick into the middle then baked. The Officers were made the same way but I had to model by hand.
The Hammock's were made from cloth and painted white which gave me the affect I was looking for,and then hung from the rails. The wash bowls with the red rims, again clay bake and hand painted, both stamped in the center with a V. I do realize that this is not to scale.
So please have a look at the pictures and thanks for your intrest.

Regards tf64.

Hi Shipmates,
Just finished the last piece of furniture to add to the Wardroom which is now completed.

This is the Wardroom which will be lit up.

This picture shows the planking of the lower deck which I know will be covered over but it is good practice for the top deck.

this picture shows trenails added to the deck.

Thank's for looking.

Regards tf64. (trev)

Absolutely marvelous work Trev. Fantastic detail. Wish I had done this earlier, as my decks up to the quarter deck are already in place, so am doing it the hard way by removing back of the the gallery. Will post my pics the weekend. Beautiful work, my friend, beautiful work. Brilliant craftmanship. Dont forget to plan your lighting and fit, as you are building otherwise it becomes a real pain in the butt.

Hello MWG,
Thanks for viewing my post,it has taken some time to build the Wardroom,it feels like I have built it twice with all the corrections I have made, but as you know yourself that's the fun of it.

Regards trev.

Hans hello,
Thank you for your kind words, regarding the lighting of the wardroom as you say think ahead, your so right,so I have planed to use LED ( light emitting diode)I think it is a absolute treat for any modeller,I have made up a mock up on a small mother board with a resistor, but it is still under test (regarding heat)I think if I reduce down to 6v it will run cold that is what I am testing now.

Regards tf64 (trev)

Hi Trev. I will be posting my pics soon, just need plenty of tidying up to do at the moment. I discovered a 12 volt led strip that come in 5 metres flexible self adhesive roll and you are then able to cut every 3 led's. It has a positive and negative patch on either end, where you can solder the wires in series for corners, bends, extentions etc. I have used a fine comms cable, the one used for security gates and intercoms, that I strip for the lenghts I need. A laptop 12 volt battery charger reduces our 220v to 12vdc. Looks fantastic when lit. If it helps I can post the specs. I have not found that the LED's produce too much heat, it only provides 4.8 to 5w alum. The strips themselves appear to be a foil of sorts that defuses the heat as well. Trust this helps your cause.
