Excellent work as usual Roy, looking fab as usual..... .. Interesting to see how you're going about modifying the build to a RHD version. Finding it really inspirational for a newbie to plastic modelling like me.... Look forward to seeing the next steps..... Regards Alan

Many thanks you chaps. A bit more. The dash is now sorted with correct gauges, switch labels and bezels made from solder wire. All fitted to the modified support plate and now in the tub. Pedals also now in place. On we go... roymattblack attached the following image(s):

Once again, I can only say thank you for all the very kind comments. Not much to show today except the main engine/frame etc is fitted to the tub but there are a good few missing braces and tubes still to add. On we go. roymattblack attached the following image(s):

That's looking great Roy and certainly moving on at a good pace too. I'm sure this will be equally as good as the rest of your car builds when complete.
Very well done so far and keep it up.

Many thanks for all the comments chaps... I've started on the body... Interior is matt black, windows fitted and masked, door skins taped in place and all primed in grey. There's logic in this apparently odd approach... When it's all finished, I don't want joins at the lower body in front and behind the doors. I'm going to spray the upper metallic grey, fit the interior parts required and then fit the body to the floor pan. Then I'll sort out the join seams, rub them down, LOTS of masking, and then the blue sides can be painted in. I'm hoping it will work. roymattblack attached the following image(s):

After some fine sanding, I've sprayed the body metallic grey where it needs to be. The body sides don't matter yet as they will eventually be blue... roymattblack attached the following image(s):

Thanks for looking in chaps. Ok - masking tape removed, rear inner floor and subframe/suspension added and lower rear body in place. A bit more to do on this section and then it will be fixed to the main floor pan. roymattblack attached the following image(s):
