It's looking really great Ken. Keep it coming. I know I'm mainly a 1/8 (or even bigger) chap these days but I do enjoy a bit of 1/12 stuff (my current Porsche nightmares) and I'm even tempted to get this one.

I'd love to see what you do with it mate. One thing I've noticed, personally I would be worried about driving a car with mechanical brakes rather than hydraulic. Ken's the name modeling's the game.

Hello ken.
Looking good but I see what you mean about the bonnet fit. It looks very much like the same problem with the bigger Pocher kit - the rad cowl at the front is too far forwards. In the Pocher kit, the fix is quite easy but a real PITA.
The engine needs moving back so the whole rad and cowl has room to move back and then the bonnet fits. As the Pocher is almost entirely screws/bolts, it's not difficult, just time consuming.
It looks as if this kit has the same problem. It makes you wonder if they used a Pocher kit as a 'template' for this one...

I agree, you've made a good job of that Ken and in my opinion is clearly your best build yet. With regards to the engine covers not sitting down properly, it wouldn't be something simple like those HT leads that loop up off the top of the distributor ending up with the covers resting on them would it?

That really looks great Ken. One of your best. Hopefully it will get a display cover and go somewhere of providence. It needs to.
