firefighter wrote:well the forecast for the weekend is wet and button is one of the best in the wet He may of been great in the wet in the past, but his driving style certainly isn't working with the 2012 compound, it seems the harder you are on them the quicker they come to life Amazing how things like tire compound can affect so much in a driver! I would idealy like a Mclaren 1-2 but know thats just a pipe dream Any one who deserves a win is certainly Grosjean, very unlucky not to have a top podium finish this season As long as Alonso isn't on the podium, I'll be happy The Brawn BuildWentworth Court Dolls HouseThe MP4/4 Build[ulr=http://forum.deagostini.co.uk/default.aspx?g=posts&t=36693]The 97T Build[/url]

So how did everyone get on that went yesterday or today. I arrived 6am yesterday, parked straight away no problems. Glad I decided to go so early. Feel for those that struggled to get in on time

I posted this one in the 'other builds' area, but personally, I'm half - hoping for Lotus to be up high this year. If there's a chance of this one in 1/8, I'll be there!!! (BTW... It was bodgellised from the 1/24 Revell Ferrari F10 - decals by me.) Roy. roymattblack attached the following image(s):

Well that was a very wet one all day friday and saturday in full waterproofs i never got to do the pit walk in the end as i had enough by then in the rain and was cream crakered so just went back to my caravan but i did get a couple of pics when i was on the track of the drivers parade not looked at them yet so dont know how they turned out will post them soon. every time i stepped out of my caravan i stepped into a soggy deep mud patch. the marshals camp site was a mess in the end but then i hear all the camp site was like that. anyway just finished a shift at work so need some sleep now. need some energy for 2 weeks time when im back at silverstone for the classic. talking of classics there was a classic F1 race on the sat evening, was great seeing all them old cars again.
