UPDATEBeen saving up my monthly parcels and not done much to the build for far to long, as we moved house just after christmas so the admiral had me working on the decorating. Have manage to get the hull faired and ready for planking so hope to make a start on this over the next few days, will add photo's with progress so far as soon as i can remember the password for my photobucket account

Kas the build is very nice and clean, nice planking, but I would prefer to see her in a "Dry Dock" to stop the possibility of the Hull twisting while you are planking. It does not detract from your excellent work, its just belt and braces. You can tell me to mind my own business if you like I will not be offended MWG BUILD DIARIES: HMS VICTORY, SOVEREIGN OF THE SEAS, SAN FRANCISCO II, HMS HOOD, HMS ENDEAVOUR LONGBOAT, HMS VICTORY X-SECTION, 007 DB5, NISSAN GTR, CUTTY SARK, RB7, AKAGI, BARK HMS ENDEAVOUR, HUMMER H1, MITSUBISHI ZERO.

Thank you MWG, advice duely noted, did have her in dry dock for inital hull build, as in the fitment of ribs and decks. Since starting the build over a year ago we moved and i lost the workspace i had. The ship was stored in the dry dock till we moved to the new house, now i'm trying to remember where i put the dry dock before i continue any more planking, don't want to run the risk of any twisting

Slow ProgressSo far planked most of the upper hull, cut out most of the lower and middle gun decks and made a start on lining the ports, a very slow and tedious job. As you can see i added my take on the deck planking. I used 0.5x3mm walnut strip and intend to replace the supplied deck material to achieve similar results on the remaining decks, just my personal choice. Here's the result No trenails added to this deck as its mostly out of view. I also made a start on the lower hull and so far so good, basically following Tomicks build and guide. Another slow job but its coming along nicely
