Thanks guys. Have taken on board what you have said and will take further pics. I will take one without the false keel top and one with. I will also take one of all the frame bottoms and tops so you can see that they all line up. I've got to wait for my camera to recharge so, while this is happening I'll give my head a rest. I must say that it's p'ing me of that this one thing is holding me back. Oh, one more thing. When you lay the very first plank should it's bottom edge line up with the bottom edge of the deck? The way I rread it, it should, but I could be wrong.

OK, will wait for more pics, like i said if you can provide pics of the following - 1, the keel repaired with frames 30+31 removed 2, frame 30 in place 3, frame 30+31 in place The keel slot may need cleaning up to remove any old glue etc to make sure both these frames go in properly. And yes, the bottom of the 1st plank follows the underside of the 1st deck. Steve

Here are the pics you requested Steve. The slight lean at the top of the false keel has been fixed. I didn't notice it until I had looked at the pic. I,e also included a pic to show that the overlap seems to be as it should be, and another pic to show that it seems to be in the same position as yours.I've fixed the slight lean at the top http://i620.photobucket....lery017_zps731c6213.jpg

From what I can see on the pics it looks much better now and if you say the lean in the keel slot has been fixed as well then you are on your way again. The sixth plank will stop short of the gallery supports so you may just need a short half plank width insert / filler to build plank 5 up to meet the top of the gallery support, this will be much later in the build though, or you can run plank 6 to end of the gallery support and sand down the excess later.
