Of course i kept the pics, John - and they are still in my photobucket as well.
I meant the pics in the forum are gone - as all the links don`t work anymore.Greetings, Walter

No, I meant the originals before you put them up into photobucket? Are they no on your PC somewhere or on a backup drive?

So you haven't lost them then. That's great, that must be a relief. It shouldn't be a lot of effort just changing the links, should it?

Thanks for your support, guys!
In my signature I also provided a link to my cloud-storage of all the pics of this build (although i just saw, that they are not entirely in the right timeline-order - no idea why that is!).Greetings, Walter

Looks good Walter. I too had problems with Photobucket. Only 8% full but I could not copy the links (now resolved). I tried resizing them to 600 x 400 pixels myself but the results were terrible. I shoot with a Nikon D800 and with a 36mp sensor, the raw files are huge. Have been reducing the files to 2mb then uploading to Photobucket. This is all I use Photobucket for as my back-ups are stored elsewhere, so I have plenty space. Alan. Today is the tomorrow you wished for yesterday!

So guys - this will be my first real update since the photobucket-meltdown.
Been on a vacation lately - hence the slow progress!
Did the starboard ladders yesterday - and i somewhat cheated as i used Shapeway`s 3D-printed ladders.
(Can you all see the pics - as sometimes one or more of them don`t appear!?)DaDokta attached the following image(s): Greetings, Walter

That`s interesting Alan!
I was told by photobucket that 3rd-party-hosting is no longer allowed as long as you dont`t pay the 500-account which is 400 dollars a year!Greetings, Walter

I have had the same from photobucket so i do not use it any more as not paying for it.
I just put my pics straights on this site now from my comp.
Can see other picture hosting sites going the same way.

I had trouble with Photobucket with my Vic pictures, I had built up an extensive build diary then one day all of my pictures went missing!! I was devastated, I did not have the time to put it right and had to leave it to pursue a new build. Current Builds: Deagostini HMS Victory: Deagostini HMS Sovereign of the seas. Completed Builds: Del Prado: HMAS Bounty: Hachette: RMS Titanic: Del Prado: Cutty Sark...
