Lovely work Martyn, I always love watching these blank on frame ships come together. I'm collecting one myself so hope i can get it looking have as good as this when I start it.

Hi all main yard finished off over easter. Rigged for sails. I have not used the brass wire for the foot rope I have used rope for this left long so I can get the hang right when foot rope is installed. Thanks for looking in Ian.  Current builds.Hachettes build the bismark,HMS Victory, HMS Hood.

Great work on the main spar Ian, like you I didn't like using wire for the footrope supports, I preferred to use thread thinking it to be more authentic.... .. keep the pics coming... Regards Alan
