PREPARING THE GALLERY STERN PANEL. Hi Team, I have done some further work on the Stern Gallery Panel. My aim is to "fix" the curve of the Panel that I want to acheive for me and to give some better fixing points from the Panel to the ship, this would enable the fitting of the Panel to have a better degree of accuracy and it would also mean I would not get adhesive every where STAGE ONE To fit the part with the curvature that was supplied by De Ag to fix to their Stern Panel, making sure to protect the paint work when clamping:- MWG attached the following image(s): MWG BUILD DIARIES: HMS VICTORY, SOVEREIGN OF THE SEAS, SAN FRANCISCO II, HMS HOOD, HMS ENDEAVOUR LONGBOAT, HMS VICTORY X-SECTION, 007 DB5, NISSAN GTR, CUTTY SARK, RB7, AKAGI, BARK HMS ENDEAVOUR, HUMMER H1, MITSUBISHI ZERO.

PREPARING THE GALLERY STERN PANEL STAGE TWO As I have mentioned in my previous post, I want to fit more support to the Panel with better fixings for the adhesive. I prepare two more strips of wood, the part that comes into contact when it is glued to the panel has been tapered.(I used scrap 5mm x 2mm planking. I cut two slots either side to allow flexability when we come to glue to the ship and I fitted pieces of Balsa wood down the sides of th Panel, which will give more support to the Side Panels, I hope the photos tell the story:- MWG attached the following image(s): MWG BUILD DIARIES: HMS VICTORY, SOVEREIGN OF THE SEAS, SAN FRANCISCO II, HMS HOOD, HMS ENDEAVOUR LONGBOAT, HMS VICTORY X-SECTION, 007 DB5, NISSAN GTR, CUTTY SARK, RB7, AKAGI, BARK HMS ENDEAVOUR, HUMMER H1, MITSUBISHI ZERO.
