SECOND SHEATHING

Hi Team done a bit more of the second planking, I am really pleased with the resultBigGrin Questions and comments are welcome Kind Regards Mike

I did not like the ships cannon or the ships wheel supplied with this partwork so I have developed a range of enhancements which are much better these are:-

Swivel Gun
Cannon with wooden carriage and trucks
24mm Ships wheel in turned and brass etch

The yellow planking looks quite striking!
It does look rather nice, I look forward to the contrasting planks going on, it should make quite a difference. I have noticed that quite a few issues of this partwork have scant few parts, what is your opinion on this?
Keep on posting your making a nice build there!!
Steve..

Hi Gus my build is still active, I am just working on some ink finishes and enhancments, the rigging is not authentic, I am getting some new plans.

I do not like all the ply parts they need changing to real wood plus I have a replacement ships wheel and new guns.

And I am not as fast as KarlLaugh Laugh Love (just jokingBigGrin Kind regards Mike

Btw I have the cross section parts list up to issue 118. I get them by subscription, so updates are a bit slow. Really must get going again, with my own Endeavour sometime.
