The next step was to increase the surface area of the supports for better fixing the wind and spray deflector. For this, i glued small lengths of 1.0mm square strip to each side of the supports.

I then started to add some of the PE supplied with the part-works. In this case the brackets that secure the radio lines. The attached photo shows the port bracket in place. The bracket required a bit of modification due to the change in shape of the conning tower to get it to sit correctly.
