Nice neat job as always. Like your rivet marking on the metal components, good to know the marking tool is still working well nearing the end of the project. Looking forward to the next update. Very nice job Trev, those rivets look like they would be tedious work but by the looks of it you haven't let that put you off as they look spot on

Trev, Very nice to see it coming along so well. See the offer on the kit today and must admit to being tempted but not sure if i would be very good at adding all that rivit detail as i guess you only get the one try per piece. Hope it continues to go well. Happy Modelling

Hi Alemo, Thanks for looking in, as for the Rivets once you start you realise that a lot of thoughts about riveting are soon lost, when you start and you will find that your confidence will grow, in fact the riveting I now do is all free hand. More soon. Trev Work in progress: Tombstone (Scratch) - San Francisco 2. -The Mayflower ( scratch by plan).

UPDATE:SPTIFIRE. 060316. TAIL RUDDER SECTION. REAR LIGHTING WIRE. TIP: Metal Plates: Make adjustments to fit before riveting this is very important or you can lose them if you adjust afterwards. Rudder section after making adjustments to the metal plate to fit, also shows where I have cut out a small section of wood to allow lighting cable to fit. Metal plate rivet marked and ready to be glued in place, also shows a check fit to cable. Remove cable and clamp plate to set 24 hours. Final picture with metal plate and rear lighting in place. Next will be Tailfin and Stabilisers. Thanks for looking. Regards Trev. Work in progress: Tombstone (Scratch) - San Francisco 2. -The Mayflower ( scratch by plan).
