It is, again, looking awesome, Yutaro-sama!! I am amazed what can be done with ships of this size. And you have a 1:2000 ship as well??? I remember the 1:1200 mini-ships from Revell and I always found them looking crude. But not these! Please continue to amaze us!! Adrie. Hi Adrie! Thank you for your comment about small scale ship models. I think that I( or Japanese modelers ?) tend to love small models with a lot of details. Of course I also love big scale models with powerfullness. Best Regards, Yutaro DeAGOSTINI 1/250 the YAMATO, 1/250 the AKAGI. Hi All! I post next progress of the NAGATO building. Flag ropes of the bridge were attached. Boats and air crafts were located on the decks. Small equipments were painted and attached. This time, I will not make her cruise. I am going to locate her on another situation. I use the same scale kit of the Kure Navy yard that is sold by Tomy Tech Co. She has a rest in the KURE Navy yard. The new kit is under construction now. Best Regards, Yutaro Yutaro HONMA attached the following image(s): DeAGOSTINI 1/250 the YAMATO, 1/250 the AKAGI. Hi All! I'm assembling the KURE(呉) Navy Yard kit for the NAGATO model. This kit is imitated the KURE Navy Yard in 1/700 scale as the NAGATO model. There remains not only photos but also some real buildings in the KURE CITY now. Kit parts are painted previously. They are so clean that I have to make weathering on them. The kit includes steam locomotives, automobiles, lumbers, sands and other goods for making a diorama. After making the diorama, I will merge the NAGATO model on it. Best Regards, Yutaro Yutaro HONMA attached the following image(s): DeAGOSTINI 1/250 the YAMATO, 1/250 the AKAGI. Hi All! I post a small progress of the NAGATO building. Since FIFA World Cup is close, I have become busy on my business. I can now use only a small time for building the models. I attached navigation lights on the bridge. They are painted in red and green fluorescednt paints. Under UV (black light) the lights shine. I also attach several lines. This process is under construction now. Best Regards, Yutaro Yutaro HONMA attached the following image(s): DeAGOSTINI 1/250 the YAMATO, 1/250 the AKAGI. Hi Adrie! Thank you for a comment. I think each scale has each pleasure. And building all the models are fun. By the way, I suddenly noticed what your handle name, "GluedFingers" means when I read your posting about "Scaldis de Cardboard build".It is a very suitable and nice handle name! I cannot help being impressed by your wit. Best Regards, Yutaro DeAGOSTINI 1/250 the YAMATO, 1/250 the AKAGI. Hasegawa Co. 1/350 Battle ship NGATO, 1/350 Aircraft carrier Akagi, Battle ship MIKASA.
