hello there since the photos are not showing up for me could someone tell me what the color of the Barrels are suppose to be painted before placing them on the forecastle deck thank you Ronald

I don't think there is an official colour other than 'aged'. Here's what I did (click the link).

You could try staining them medium oak. If you want to ad some realism doe each strip of wood in the barrel body a slightly different shade.
