Hi all thanks to roymattblacks very nice and comprehensive pdf of this model I have decided to go with cloth covered body and here is my effort Ken's the name modeling's the game.

Well I didn't know about the cloth covered body!! Very different finish and I must say I rather like it, it looks like suede!!

Hi all here is a small update. I got one wheel done but it took soooo long and looked total rubbish so after finding this tip on britmodeler I thought I wouls give it a go added breaking linkages and carb linkages I got the breaking linkages and the carb ones from roymatblacks great pdf Ken's the name modeling's the game.

Hi Ken, sorry to hear your not happy with it, but when is a modeller ever 100% happy with a build? I like the stone chip guard on the carbs, looks good If it's just the body you are not happy with then pull it off and strip it all down, shouldn't be a big deal really - nothing that some sanding and filler cant sort out and if it's taken off as one piece should be fairly easy to get back to bare plastic again. Just a thought Steve

Well I fixed it I filled my revell precision glue pot with super glue then I made a little hole in the air bubble and squeezed the superglue in the hole, then I gradually squeezed the excess glue and air out of the hole. I fixed the decals with a hair drier, I put it on maximum( I figured I had ruined the body anyway so nothing to loose) I heated the decals up then squeezed them flat with some tissue. Ken's the name modeling's the game.
