Nice work Ian and making good progress - well done!!
It looks in your last photo as though you have now applied the clearcoat to your experimental car bonnet as it appears more shiny and smooth than in your first "how does this look" photo a couple of posts ago, where the red paint looks a little grainy (very slightly, not much though) with a kind of slight 'orange peel' effect? I would say it looks fine judging by the last photo and well done you for remembering to test spray on an unimportant piece of scrap model before risking your main subject. I'd reckon you've got it sorted mate, now you just need to repeat the processes on the bike parts, remembering to leave plenty of drying time (at least 24 hrs, preferably a few days) between each layer, apply the decals then clearcoat again and a final polish for a perfect finish!! What paints and clearcoat are you using by the way? Tamiya acrylics?
Cool bike.

Just a little update done wheels but still need to put decals on other side. Front forks painted but was not happy with the colour which was like a dark copper so stripped it back and put gold leaf with Clear orange on still got a lot todo. Stand and front cowl painted in photo looks orange but it's not it's red lol working on some small parts at mo and doing petrol tank. Thanks for looking in Facebook-model maker

Nice work Ian looking very cool and I particularly like the gloss clear coat you've achieved on the red parts - well done on an all round great build.
