Hi All,

I totally agree with Tomicks comments, being a newbie myself I thought I would purchase a 'practice' kit, it being HMS Greyhound by Corel, the instructions fit of parts and drawings are very poor, to the point that it nearly put me off continuing, not just with that kit, but also with this Victory build. So in ways I can speak from experience about inexperience!

I am well behind with this build (but this is being done on purpose), have not quite finished the launch yet, but must say that it is purely down to Tomicks build and you guys on this forum that I have percievered, getting as far as I have with the launch (and I think it looks pretty good) has given me the confidence boost that I needed to keep going. I wouldn't have got this if I had been building alone with a poorly translated booklet & a few drawings.

The planking on my Greyhound is pretty crap, but won't be seen after painting and it really doesn't matter it is a practice after all and the learning curve, altough steep, will be worth while.

The cost and qaulity of the parts becomes somewhat irrelevant if at the end of the day I produce something of which I am proud!

So thank you Tomick, De-Ag and especialy you guys on this forum for keeping a newbie going.

Wilfy
