Thanks everyone. The Time Machine has 2 "batteries" which site under the platform. The batteries themselves are resin pieces.I added copper wire and regular wire and used zinc oxide tape to make the insulation around the wires. darbyvet attached the following image(s):

Thanks everyone for your kind words. The final part of the assembly under the platform is to build 2 tanks. These come in 2 parts and with a gauge. I bought some threaded rod for the mounts.I will paint the tanks a copper color and leave the rods their natural brass color. Once they are finished I have to test fit and figure out where everything goes.I made the platform slightly bigger than the kit one so I should have room for all of the parts. darbyvet attached the following image(s):

It really looks a complex kit but you seem to know exactly what to be doing to put together a stunning build. Just so impressed with the base you have put together. Happy Modelling

Thanks everyone. There are 2 control boxes that connect to the batteries and sit under the platform. One of them has a gauge on it.The kit does not come with any decals so I found some pictures of gauges on the internet and printed them on photo paper. I then cut out the gauge with a leather punch and installed it on the kit part. Once the copper tanks are finished I will need to test fit all the pieces that go under the platform and attach them. After that I will start building the structures on top of the platform. There is a brass rail around the platform. This does not come with the kit.there are mounts to connect the rail to the platform.I bought a piece of copper wire which I will use to make the rail and then I will spray it brass colored. Those gauges are awesome!! I'm guessing you just stuck them on with something like PVA?
