Hi Saintsman sorry to hear off your ailment still, no excuse for skivving off tho pull your good hand out off your a** and get on with it There are guys on this forum who if they were a pet they would be taken to the vets and put down (more humane thing to do) Na seriously you sound like you enjoy your time on this build, you have put a lot off time and effort into it and a little thing like losing the use off a limb should just be a challenge to someone like yourself and i will be looking forward to your pictures off your progress put myself to shame who has 2 left hands, no patience, and heavy handed happy building to you Sir

its amazing how you can retrain your brain, i've not been able to keep away from victory and using my left hand have been able to do a bit of work, fortunately although i cant use my right hand to hold tools i can still use it for support, i was going to take some pitures, but guess what,......the button for the camera shutter is on the right hand side, so until my wife or kids come back from work/school i cant post anything, but will get someone to take a few pics. Come on you Jimmies

It is amazing how one does cope and adapt. I work with intellectual and diabled adults everyday and it does not cease to amaze me how they adapt to their disability and I really believe "where there is a will there is a way". Good on you and cannot wait for your pics. i have finally got some pics to put up, please ignore the dustbin on the table, my young dog loves to raid the bin at night. as you can see i have painted the front blue as well, and the gallery has been done with some walnut wood i had left over. it takes a bit longer to get everything done but the helping hands which came with the subscription are a great help saintsman123 attached the following image(s): Come on you Jimmies

i forgor to say, i've been using a lot of leftover wood from other models all over the place rather than staining, most of the top/deck detail has been done this way the sides have been stained, as that is how i started off. Come on you Jimmies

thanks johnny and andy the chainwale rigging from the latest issue was causing a few problems, i seemed to have 2 different types of brass wire, one bent perfectly using the magazine technique, the other was way too stiff to bend round the wood. luckily the roundnose pliers from the tool kit give the perfect radius for the bend, so if you are stuck at that bit try them. btw i know about annealing to soften the wire, i used annealed wire for the deadeyes, however it can discolour the wire so i did not want to do it that way on this occasion Come on you Jimmies
