Adding some photoetched detail to the landing gear bays and speed brakes.I decided not to use the photoetched speed brakes themselves because they are too delicate and will definitely get bent . darbyvet attached the following image(s):

The cockpit is finished.I added the photoetched instrument panels and seatbelts. The next step is to enclose the cockpit tub and front wheel well in the fuselage. darbyvet attached the following image(s):

Thanks everyone. The fuselage is now complete and I added the wings and tail and horizontal stabilizers. The fit was OK, but I did need some filler around the tail base and may need some on the wing root. The next step is to start priming the fuselage and rescribing the panel lines.I plan on using testors gloss enamel for the paint scheme.I really liked their gold enamel.I hope the gloss white is as good.I found a trumpeter T38 kit with the Thunderbirds decals so I should be good to go for decals.I will probably wait at least a week before decaling to ensure the enamel has cured.
