What needle size are you using Ken? I think it might require at lease 0.5mm if not larger. By the way, I love all the detail you're adding to the engine. Well done! Ken That is all looking very nice indeed. For plastic mouldings they certainly have crammed in plenty of detail for you to work with. Happy Modelling

Ken I have just looked at those engine bay pictures and i am wondering if these are workshop pictures of the real thing or a model? Absolutely brilliant work and fooled me. Your dashboard looks very nice as well. The only time i have seen anything like this was in The decal sheet tamiya provided in its jaguar model kit some years ago now. Very impressive indeed. Happy Modelling

Hi all here is today's update. I'm really happy the way the chrome has golded (is that a word) I think the gold works incredibly well with the purple I realise the purple needs a few more coats, then I need to start the marbling effect, have I mentioned I love this kit. Ken's the name modeling's the game.

Hi all well I'm scrapping the marble effect idea (the gold pigment in the paint was too thin and would have required two coats to even start to cover which doesn't work with the marbling effect) (it's a one coat thing) not sure what I will do now, I'm thinking hard now. I've put the humbrol tin there to give an idea of the size of this beast. Ken's the name modeling's the game.
