I'm sorry to say that you will not get issue 5 though you will get it if you sign up to the ModelSpace release of the TB2.

This will be released as an online subscription only rather than a magazine release.

You signed up for the test run of the weekly magazine. The full release will be a monthly subscription rather than a weekly magazine build and will not contain a magazine. Instructions will be downloaded from the ModelSpace TB2 page when it goes live. We are hoping to set up that you can start from Pack 2.
Hope this is clear

Been following this for a while and was going to jump in as soon as it was released. But, if it's true that the instructions are a digital download only, that's a deal breaker for me. My PC is in a different room to where I build my models and I'm not buying a printer just to print out the instructions.

I tend to download instructions and store them on Dropbox, from there I can access them via my tablet or mobile phone. Shame you see it as a show stopper for you, there are ways round it... You could also store them on a memory stick and have them printed using one of the public printing services that are available or perhaps have a friend with a printer print them off for you.... Just a thought....Cool Cool

The TB2 release will not be supplied with magazines and the instructions content will only be available via download.
We're lucky to have TB2 even in this format as it was touch and go that it would be on sale here at all.

Thanks for the reply, Gandale:)

Yes, I could get someone to print the instructions for me, or try and follow them on my phone, but it's more the principle of the thing. This build isn't cheap and printed instructions (not bothered about the magazine itself) would cost Deagostini literally a few pennies to produce.

I think I'll wait and pick this up during the inevitable sale in a year or two :)

Very, very excited for this build! But, I have to ask, if each pack every month contains 4 issues, normally priced around £10 each, how will it cost £80 per month? Are you saying each issue is worth £20?
Future Build Wish List: Thunderbird 3, Stingray
Current Builds: X-wing
Finished Builds: Millennium Falcon, Thunderbird 2, Delorean, R2D2

please read what tomick said in this quote.

Pack 1 is a £9.99 low start price, the balance of 11 months is likely to be £79.99 per month and the 24 month Sub is likely to be £39.99 per month. Its 80 stages.

The 15 issue extension will be available to buy towards the end as a complete kit, so you have the choice to buy it or not.

Sorry about that, my tired maths head didn't get round the fact that after the initial month it's 7 mags a month for the 12mth sub!

Ok, so I am going to be glued to the website tomorrow! Just to confirm, will that website be https://www.deagostini.c...ns/build-thunderbird-2/ or somewhere else? Also, for the people who already subbed for the trial, will we get an email asking for 12mth or 24mth sub or... how is that going to work?
