After rubbing down the 1st coat to remove any bloopers the second coat has gone on a treat. For those interested the undercoat used is called 'CanBrush' and is a car bodywork undercoat and gives a finish like plasticoat paints but at a 3rd of the price per 500ml spray can. Some more colour added to the hull. the deck was sprayed with silver grey,the centre section of the hull side is a light grey DKM 51 and the hull ends are a darker grey. The boot line was done in semi-gloss black and last of all the German anti fowling red was applied. Once dry the depth markers were added along with the rudders and then the whole hull has been given a coat of matt clear coat.
