Lovely etch work Chris, very neat and tidy. I know how time consuming it can be to fit so many small brass parts, so well done you for getting it done - it looks great. CoolThumpUp

Hi guys Thanks for your nice comments, sorry for the delay. I have re-made my work bench and spray bench then tidied the drawers out to get it all more organised.

Here are the latest pictures of where I'm up to. I have glued the aft lower deck to the made deck and started on the railings.

Av ery smart and tidy workspace there, Chris.
I wish mine was as organised as that. I clear up and vacuum up all the sanding dust and five minutes later,
I am sitting in a tip again. BigGrin
Keep the modelling going. A real credit to you.

Hi guys thanks for looking in.
I have installed the main decks and masked them up. Then started adding more PE ready for priming. Theres still a way to go before priming though. I was wondering whether to put the main railings around the hull before or after painting.

Chris

That looks really good Chris.

“Railings before or after painting Confused” difficult choice i guess as they are fragile and could be knocked but on the other hand would they stick better on an unpainted surface.

At least then you would have little chance of messing up your final paint finish.

Be interested to see what you decide.

Tony

Hi guys, Thanks for looking in and the nice comments.

I have now primed the hull and the First of my sections. I used Alclad grey Microfiller primer. Really good stuff.
