Thanks for the comments guys. This is my first Pocher and certainly there's a good level of detail ( considering it's a 1970's kit ). I suspect that some of their other offerings could be much more detailed. The moulding is quite poor generally and brittle...!! I've had quite a bit of repair and additions to make. The fit of parts is hit and miss. Can be frustrating but adds to the challenge I guess. I've got the suspension on now which pretty much completes the chassis. Malc. Progress on this one is a bit slow .... but managed to get a little more done. I wasn't happy with the brass fuel lines from the fuel tank along both sides of the chassis. The wire diameter looked too large ( 2mm ) so I made my own with 1.5mm brass rod. The fit is better as well. Malc.RM1 attached the following image(s):

Engine compartment more or less complete, got the wiring done. It only needs the Carb' to be added. The "cockpit" also completed. I added clear perspex over the dials and some brass fastners to the wood. ( this kit is very basic ) RM1 attached the following image(s):

It's looking really good. Keep it coming. It brings back memories of the old wrecked one I had and rebuilt a few years ago. Great fun.

Time to have a go at Upholstery on the two seats. The seats and cushions are from a resin cast and need quite a bit of cleaning up. I sprayed the outer seat section and edged it with Semi-gloss black. The seat cushion is a flat plate with a piece of foam cut and bonded on. The leather is surprisingly stretchy. I used a super glue Gel to attach it. The final finishing is a series of pins pushed through, bonded at the rear and cut to length. Malc.RM1 attached the following image(s):

The “Bucket” for the seat has its piece of cut foam glued in and then the leather is carefully stretched and bonded around the seat edge. Similar pin based buttons added although a hole has to drilled through the much thicker seat section. The pins get bent and bonded before trimming.RM1 attached the following image(s):

Something of a tricky process as described but I'm happy with the overall result. I’ll put a spot of black paint on the pin heads once the second seat is complete. Also some piping to add at the joint between the seat cushions.RM1 attached the following image(s):
