hi harty, hope your sharpening them up,I got ten treenails from a single stick,I used a pencil sharpener which had a small hole which nicely took the cocktail stick, but I did have sore fingers afterwards Current builds: SotS, USS Consitution, San Felipe, D51 loco, HMS Surprise, RB7, Arab Dhow, Jotika HMS Victory Completed builds: HMS Pickel, Thermopylae, Mississipi river boat, Mary Rose, Cutty Sark, San Francisco II, HMS Victory x5, Titanic Lifeboat, Panart HMS Victory Launch, Hachette Titanic, Virginia Schooner, Endeavour Longboat. http://www.model-space.com/gb/

Nah.... the cost outweighs the pain there I.m afraid. The missus picks them up in the cheap shops for next to nothing but Tesco do a really nice one for 37p a bundle. The only pain is the brainache putting them all in the little holes .

Finally got all the decking in and nailed. Can concentrate on the inner walls now, get them up to scratch. There are nearly a thousand nails in the three decks so God only knows how many will go into the hull .

An overall view of the hull as it stands to date. I will not be puting any oil on this until a few deck fittings are installed. The glue dont seem to get on with the oil .

Hi guys, I work funny shifts and when I do my lates ,it,s seven on the trot and then I have 5 days off. At the mo I am on my 2 days break and then I have my 7 days holiday break and then I am on my 5 days break again and then back to work. Pretty cool eh. So plenty of time for doing the boats .

Just another update, spent the best part of yeterday doing bits and pieces. Got some hatches done and the fancy staircases, think I might have to tidy them up a bit though. .Gonna start doing more planking now down to the waterline at least, that will let me get the bumpers and chain wales on.
