Slow aint the word guys!! I've been bogged down in so much recently and the misses even left me a list of things to do around the house while she was away, so even in her absence I didn't get half as much done as I'd have liked  But fear not, there has been some progress  I've grinded the upper suspension arms, taken the square edge off them and make them a little more aerodynamically friendly! Now they're done ive attached them to the front end, enabling me to finally turn 2 into 1, yes the base and body are now togther As you can see below though it's not perfect, slight gaps in some places, some of the surfaces are still a little rough  But I'm not overly worried about this, the whole thing will need yet another rub down, filler and undercoat or 2 before the finish coat and decals I've also put into place the side pod restrictor to one side, I have my template for making the other, just need to cut it and bend it The nose cone has been giving me no end of grief, I've made a few different styles and types but am not happy with any of them I have consulted with Spence for a possible solution to my woes So watch this space  pics for your viewing pleasure below Heinzy attached the following image(s):

Hello Heinzy,
It doesn't matter how slow the progress is my friend, what matters is that you get it right and if that takes time then so be it - "the proof is in the pudding" as they say !!
Looking good Heinzy and I can see that you've certainly done some work on those arms and the bodywork - looking much more like a Brawn now.
Keep up the good work mate and keep those updates coming when you can? An interesting project!!

Well the wife and little one are off with the inlaws until Wednesday, had a great couple of days just literally filling, sanding and repeating over the weekend So much so that the tips of my fingers are now finger print proof! The one thing I should've done first though before all this sanding is tape up the cock pit, see pic below, very dusty work! Something I picked up on at the weekend too was that if you use a wet wipe on the filler just as it's going off, it leaves it fairly smooth and alot easier to sand, handy little hint there! Also managed to rebuild my new rear wing sides after my attempt on making the aero slits on the last ones ruined them Cut out the rear wheel cover inserts too, not sure if I've made the hole in the middle too big though, I think a little black paint and the bright fluro yellow decals will help disguise this Managed to get me a 1:18 brawn off ebay recently too, what was great is that the front wing was damaged so I could see more detail previously hidden Front wing assembly to follow after the main body It's also a great reference piece for the rear diffuser, now I've got no excusses! Will be hitting the build again tonight for some more filling and sanding! Very repetative at this stage on the main body, but I've just got to keep on it until i'm happy Like I've said, it's not going to be 100%, but once sprayed and decalled up it should look the part! Had a quickie last night, no not that kind of quickie!! Just sitting around last night with nothing on tv, misses at work and little one in bed, so picked up the build Decided to make a start reshaping the rear end Fairly self explanitory pics and process Also masked up the cockpit, something I should've done a long time ago! Unfortnately the last update is it's current condition! Didn't actually realise it has been 2 months though, terrible Although I haven't done anything on the build, I have been sourcing some decal paper and discussing with roymattblack the best options for what I want and best how to achieve this Thanks for the interest Once anything else has been officially done, It'll be straight on here

Blimey August since my last update, has it really been that long Well good news, the wife and daughter are away for a week, well good news in a sense! Meant I could get back into the Brawn Blew the dust of my kit last night, organised my stuff and cracked on with a few little bits Firstly removed the seat for a good clean, also cleaned out the cock pit too, just looked terrible with all that filler dust! So That's well and truely covered now to prevent that happening again After that I turned my attention to the rear end, been racking my brain how to do the rear defuser, I came to the conclusion I should've done it before installing the engine/gear box and top half of the body Oh well, the power of hind signt! So what I've decided is to remove the brake hubs and rear support arm, this at least gives me better access to the rear floor I actually forgot how many pieces went into the brake hubs  After all that I decided to get back into filling, just some small bits I'm not happy with, I think just once more tonight and I'll be there Then onto filler spray coat and primer! Thanks Sean, Unfortunately not mate, in the middle of moving house at the moment All my kit is packed away, waiting for normality to be restored before I start getting anything out That's why I've not started my Senna build yet either But fear not, I have not given up!!
