My thoughts exactly... not to mention that not all rims use bearings either they sit directly on the axle with a lock nut so no need to worry about rim movement... Supaheli

Hi, I'm just updating myself on forum issues and currently am on stage 48. I too have front wheel bearings from previous issues that just drop into wheel rims without the need for the bearing insertion tool. Can any one update me as to whether there is gong to be a fix for this, or as previously suggested, PTFE tape seems to be an answer, although a bit of a "Bodge job" considering the price we are paying? Its not presented a problem during running and therefore no fix advised or needed.

Thanks again mrT for reply. I guess as others, due to special tool being provided to fit bearings (as against fingers) I was expecting necessity of a tighter fit in rims. Regards Phil
