Covering it in paint and using it as a weather balloon, is that far enough out of the box lol.

Well i must say that has turned out really well. Only asking as i used to be into the hand made card hobby and remembering spending a fortune on unusual papers and cards bases. This is really a brilliant idea. It all looks really neat. Happy Modelling

Well what can i say? That helicopter looks brilliant and if you had posted this prior to the light bulb pic and asked "what did i make this from?" I would say not many people would have worked it out. Very good indeed. Hope your "little grey cells" continue to do things so out of the ordinary. This is such an unusual build but its all coming together so very well. Happy Modelling

Thanks so very much all of you for the kind remarks, I can tell you it's not to everyone's taste ( I must be some sort of avant guard modeler or something ) I'm glad you're all seeing it for what it is just a bit of fun, I've seen builds of this (warreni's build is amazing) but I wasn't going for super realistic, just fun, thanks, I must be getting harder skinned cause I don't care what others think, it is my model after all. Ken's the name modeling's the game.

Ken I see model making as an art form. And like music or paintings people will always have differing views on what they like or not like. In my view you are like the Damian Hurst of the model world. Not afraid to try something out of the ordinary, and its that out of the ordinary that can inspire others into trying something new. There will always be citics of other peoples work but i for one am always impressed by your ideas. Happy Modelling
