In the past week I have continued construction of the mast assemblies, and am slowly getting there. The biggest challenge has been drilling 50 x .8mm on the lower edges of the crows nests. Had to buy a set of micro drill bits and a pin vice to put them in, then drill the holes by hand whilst looking through magnifying glass! I think I have done about 20 so far!

OK, masts are now finished, although not glued in, in case I need to move them about!

Now onto building 8 spars, 3 x for foremast, 3 x for main mast, and 2 x for mizzen mast.

The whole thing in fast staring to look like a tall ship at last!
