I discovered how brittle some of the wire was.. luckily enough, I have a model shop not far from me where I can get metre lengths of brass wire of varying thickness's for about a quid to do the job in hand..methinks that it may be just that its the odd batch of wire that doesn't bend well... Please keep us posted on your progress, I'm enjoying your build mate...Current Builds: Deagostini HMS Victory: Deagostini HMS Sovereign of the seas. Completed Builds: Del Prado: HMAS Bounty: Hachette: RMS Titanic: Del Prado: Cutty Sark...

Well done Bob, she's coming along real fine. The mixtures of wood, to my mind makes her look real. I Think in the day, that would have been the case. Keep going and the pics coming. thanks hans, i kinda look upon the whole thing as a personal build as i'm sure lots do.look at s.o.b.'s. and others. when you think that the real ship went through various refits and modifications, and is still going through some, who know what the real victory is any more. i've mentioned the janitors broom before and by the looks of things victory is the same. the janitor has the same broom for 30 years just 10 new handles and 20 new heads. thanks tom. i received a letter out of the blue from my consultant this morning, he's recommended me to a new specialist who has just moved into the area, who seems to think he may be able to get me some use of my hand again, so fingers crossed -no pun intended- i might be able to some bits that i've not been able to do such as rig the guns. merry christmas to all Come on you Jimmies
