Bobba, I think that's guaranteed.

Issue 11 has the build of the front suspension complete and on the chassis, with the engine mount, including parts that will connect to the rear suspension, added on the back. From reading part 11 it is clear that part 12 is one of the rear suspension units.

It's not that big of a stretch that 13-15 will be the other rear suspension and the two remaining wheels. I'm hoping for a rolling chassis next month.
Current Builds
Eaglemoss: Ecto-1, BTTF Delorean [Installing Mods]
Hachette: T800 Endoskeleton
Agora Models Shelby Cobra 427 [Plate 031]
BanDai 1:5000 Imperial Star Destroyer
AMT 1991 U.S.S. Enterprise Bridge [Installing Mods & Lights]

Finished Builds
Deagostini: R2-D2 [Never getting batteries]

Hi Bobba, Nice Job !

I saw your pictures and i have one question on the Eaglemoss issue 10 :

We can see on your frame one "crack".
Me and some members of another forum have the same problem.

Didn't you think this can weaken the DeLorean solidity ?
Or did you think (like me) the other parts of the construction could "reinforce" the model ?
Thank you for your answer Bobba.

Hi Frank .. Well spotted yes this is a hairline crack in the chassis and,I'm not sure how this will affected once we add more weight onto the chassis

It might be ok but i don't want to wait and find out and i'm currently waiting on a replacement issue 10 from eaglemoss hence the delay in any progress

if the 2nd chassis is damaged too Blink im looking to repair someone at work recommended this to me https://www.amazon.co.uk...QuikSteel.../B005O0366Q Ive watched some videos of it and it appears to be more than strong enough for what we want to achive

Sorry to hear other members are experiencing the same issue with the chassis

Regards

David

Hi David,

Thank you for your quick answer and thank you for the link with the idea to use the Quick Steel Cargo ;)
It's true with 11/12kg when the DeLorean will done, it's better to have a strong chassis.

Thank's again ;)

Regards

Franck.

Decided i'm going to stick with my original Chassis over going through the stress of removing all the parts and transferring them across to the new one that eaglemoss was great in replacing within 14 days
