Yes. Everything is based on his car. Even the body behind the drivers seat has been altered as he's flippin' tall, and couldn't get the seat far enough back...

A bit more on the beastie. BTW... You may have noticed the older, original seats have been put back in the real car... Front brake pipes added and the water and oil rads are just about sorted. They need painting before actual fitting and the main rad still needs the electric fan to be constructed and fitted. Getting there now though. Roy. roymattblack attached the following image(s):

Still posting for those following... The two rads are now fitted, plus pipes and sensor wires. I still need to add the rad cap and overflow pipe, then it's the intake airbox, screens, steering wheel, rear lights and number roundels. After that, done... Thanks chaps. The tyres are staying 'clean' as the guy I'm building this for wants the model pristine, which is how he keeps his real car. Air-box now made and fitted to the carbs and front screen frame made and added. I'll fit the 'glass' at the very end so as not to mark it... Roy. roymattblack attached the following image(s):

Many thanks you guys. The beastie is all but completed now - just awaiting details on location/direction of the '4' roundel that goes on the tail. Bonnet leather straps added, rear mirror done, windscreens in place and all decals added except the tail one. It needs a really good polishing but I'll do that in a few days time so the decals can set firmly. I'll try to get a few outdoor piccies before I wave bye-bye to it...
