Back to the build and the subframe takes shape Build the Jaguar E-Type, Part 22Parts with issue 22Left upper wishbone Left lower wishbone Left suspension upright This is like stage 20. Take the inner side member from stage 21 and align the wishbones from this stage with the 2 indicated pivot holes. (Picture 2) Take the suspension upright and fit it over the 2 pivot holes, aligning the fixing holes. Secure the suspension upright in place with 2 screws. Build the Jaguar E-Type, Stage 23Parts with Issue 23Front Crossmember Take the Crossmember from this issue and the 2 sidemember assemblies, assembled previously. Take the left hand side member and slide it into place taking note of the orientation. Secure with 2 screws as indicated. (Picture 2) repeat for the right hand side member, making note of the alignment shown. Build the Jaguar E-Type, Part 24Parts with Issue 24Right hand upper brace Right hand diagonal brace Take the subframe assembly and the upper brace. Fit the cranked square on the brace against the front crossmember. Holding the brace in place and turn the assembly over. Secure the brace to the side member through the middle of the side member. (Picture 2) Take the diagonal brace into the hole just above the wishbone pivots and align the other end with the corresponding hole in the upper brace. Secure with a single screw. New delivery brings more of the frame Build the Jaguar E-Type, Stage 26Parts with Issue 26Left hand lower brace Right hand lower brace Steering rack mounting bracket Oil filter Take the subframe assembly and the steering rack mounting bracket and align the 2 parts securing with a single screw (picture 2) Take the left hand lower brace and align as shown in the instructions and secure with a single screw (picture 3) the right hand lower brace and the oil filter will be fitted at a later stage Ian23 attached the following image(s): Building: Deagostini R2D2, Eaglemoss Delorean, Deagostini E-Type

Build the Jaguar E-Type, Stage 27Parts with issue 27Right suspension upright Brake disc Caliper Suspension brushes Shock absorber shroud Coil spring Damper body Pivot pin Take the brake disc and the caliper and slide over the edge of the disc. Align he disc assembly over the central spindle and fit the locating post into the hole in the caliper. Secure with a single screw. (picture 2) take the assembly and the subframe and align with the ends on the wishbones. Fit the brushes over the wishbones and secure with 2 screws from below and above. (picture 3) take the shock absorber shroud and fit the eye into the bracket on the front cross member. Secure with the pivot pin ensuring the splined end goes in last. put the coil spring into the shroud and fit the damper over the spring. secure to the lower wishbone with a single screw. New month means new parts and this month is a busy but fiddly one. The result is great though Build the Jaguar E-Type, Stage 30Parts with Issue 30Radiator header tank Header tank support Fan motor assembly Cooling fan Hose Filler cap Fit the fan onto the motor shaft and secure with a single screw (picture 2) Fit the header tank too its support and secure with a single screw (picture 3) Line the motor assembly and the support up and secure together with 2 screws (picture 4) Line the filler cap up with the hole in the header tank and push firmly into place.
