Thanks Al. I hope you’re right. They deserve greater exposure. Can only vouch for this kit, but the engineering is top notch Regards Gray

Hi guys, well camera problem fixed. As it turned out it was just a problem with the sd card, so back up and running now my next update features the front axle, steering and suspension. The suspension is quite rudimentary, but it works (well the front end bounces - does that count )! One of the smaller rubber bands is turned in a figure of eight to double it up, and then fed through the notch in the axle. repeat for opposite side. The axle is then fed up through the centre king pin, making sure the steering notch is on the near side. The drop link is then attached to the axle, and to the steering rack.Front wheels are then attached (suitably waxed of course), and that's the front end complete. The 'exhaust system' comes next! Hi guys, thanks for looking in and your comments on my build Del, yep, your not wrong. In fact i've already had a trial run, which proved the engine was a bit tight, so i've stripped it down, regreased (read re-waxed) the moving parts, and re-assembled . This really is a big plus on a build not using any glue. It can be stripped down easy - for servicing and general repair work obviously Tom, the only 'flying' this car will be doing is along my granddaughter's living room floor Ok, here is my latest update. This ivolves building the exhaust (remembering to build them as mirror images of each other), which are just push-fit on each side. Next comes the drive wheel and drive belt assembly, followed by the hand-crank itself, which is made up of 4 pieces pinned together. The final stage is the building of a trophy cup, as reward for finishing the build! CaptnBirdseye attached the following image(s):
