That looks very good.

These old cars have a primitive look (which is what i so much like about them), i guess it might be called character, but wow didn't they have some state of the art workings. So says someone that knows nothing about cars but to my untrained eye little difference between a vintage car and some of todays offerings. Bit more electronics to go wrong and everything sealed up.

That alclad paint has gone down well on the pipework.

Hope it all continues well.

Tony

Hi Tony. Thanks for the kind comments. You're right that these older cars have some real "character" and some impressive engineering considering the materials that they had available.

Worth a mention is the clash between this control rod ( throttle I think ? ) and the engine block mounting boss. I saw this highlighted in other build diaries as well. My solution was to cut off the end lever and change its angle relative to the rod. This got the assembly below the boss.

Good fix on that rod issue.

Makes you wonder how these things get through to final production but anyways you have pulled it back on teack well.

Nice work Malc, a real pleasure to follow your builds as always and thanks for sharing the journey with us.

Well done and a nice swerve on that throttle control rod problem too! Cool ThumpUp
